El Perfil de la Vivienda de Cuba es un informe único que ofrece una visión amplia de la estructura y funcionamiento del sector de la vivienda de Cuba. El informe es una fuente de conocimiento para comprender la evolución y la transformación que ora ocurrí en el sector de la vivienda en Cuba. La preparación del informe conto con la participación de varios expertos Cubanos responsables por la formulación de artículos que revelan una análisis minuciosa del marco legal, regulador e institucional que gobierna el sector vivienda, así como la industria y sector de la construcción, la mano de obra, la oferta de infraestructura, financiamiento y gestión del suelo para producción de vivienda, así como la evolución de la demanda y oferta en el mercado de la vivienda. Una serie de talleres consultativos fueran organizados, involucrando decenas de instituciones, expertos, académicos y formuladores de política, para discutir y validar los resultados de investigación, datos y contenido de los capítulos previos que forman parte de un informe de 400 páginas. Esto es la base de la Versión Ejecutiva del Perfil de la Vivienda en Cuba que ora se presenta al grande público.

The Housing Profile of Cuba is a unique report that reveals the structure and functioning of the housing sector in Cuba. The report is an excellent source to understand the evolution and ongoing transformation taking place in the housing sector in contemporary Cuba. The making of the report brought together key Cuban experts who prepared advanced chapters depicting the analysis of the institutional, legal and regulatory frameworks; the construction sector and building industry, the land and infrastructure sectors, labor, the housing finance sector, the demographics, and the demand and supply of the housing market. A series of consultative workshops involving several institutions, experts, scholars and policy makers discussed and validated the research, data and reports that resulted into a 400-page report which forms the basis of the Executive Version of the Housing Profile of Cuba.
