En el marco de la asistencia técnica para formular la Política Nacional de Desarrollo Integral de las Ciudades (PNDIC) y con el apoyo de la Agencia Sueca de Desarrollo Internacional (ASDI), ONU-Habitat ha realizado un estudio y propuesta metodológica para identificar la configuración del sistema de ciudades de Bolivia, incluida su caracterización general, con miras a recuperar la mirada de la escala urbana nacional en la gestión del territorio nacional.

Final report of the global Expert Group Meeting “Towards a new generation of Voluntary Local Reviews: Connecting VLRs and VNRs” held 23 and 24 February 2021, organized by UN-Habitat, UCLG and the support of Madrid City Council (Spain).

By providing technical support and capacity building, the UN-Habitat-Cities Alliance project “Sustainable Economic Development along the Turkana West Development Corridor Through Enhanced Connectivity”, capitalises on emerging infrastructure connectivity opportunities and ongoing comprehensive development programmes.

The report aims to fill existing spatial and socio-economic data gaps through identifying baseline information via conducting area-based socio-economic analyses and economic-development analyses aiming to support urban management strategies that also address the needs of urban migrants in the region. The publication adopts an integrated planning approach that promotes dialogues across planning scales as well as across administrative boundaries including with different urban stakeholders.
