Our City Plans, formerly known as Participatory Incremental Urban Planning (PIUP), is a toolbox that allows local governments and urban actors to implement projects, plans, and planning processes. It guides them through a step-by-step methodology that includes the assessment, planning, operationalisation and implementation phases, organized in blocks and supported by different activities and tools.

The transport sector in Lebanon is considered one of the most unsustainable in the Middle East region, due to weak governance structures and regulatory frameworks, the absence of a modern and reliable public transport system, and a car-friendly culture dominated by large old-model polluting cars.
