O Perfil do Setor de Habitação (PSH) é um estudo de diagnóstico cujo objetivo principal é servir de suporte à elaboração e implementação de uma Política Nacional de Habitação, bem como de outras iniciativas de desenvolvimento habitacional, e assim cooperar para a promoção de habitação acessível e apropriada para todos os cabo-verdianos. O estudo para Cabo Verde foi elaborado pelo Governo de Cabo Verde, através do Ministério das Infraestruturas, do Ordenamento do Território e Habitação (MIOTH), com a assistência técnica da ONU-Habitat, apoio do Instituto Nacional de Estatísticas (INE) e do Instituto Nacional de Gestão do Território (INGT). O PSH oferece ao país a oportunidade de identificar os aspetos e as ações prioritárias para a realização dos compromissos globais, como os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (Agenda 2030), Agenda 2063 da União Africana, e a Nova Agenda Urbana, bem como o Plano Estratégico de Desenvolvimento Sustentável.
