On October 22-24, the World Circular Economy Forum 2018 (WCEF2018) was held in Yokohama, Japan, co-organized by the Finnish Innovation Fund SITRA and the Japanese Ministry of the Environment. Some 1,000 stakeholders from governments, municipalities, industries, and civil organizations from more than 80 countries gathered to present and learn the best solutions for a sustainable future.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) participated in the side session on circular economy education and presented the CACP as a regional platform for partnership and knowledge sharing.
