“Strengthening Development, Planning and Management in Greater Cairo” project signing ceremony

Cairo, 14 July 2016-- The General Organization for Physical Planning (GOPP), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) signed the “Strengthening Development, Planning and Management in Greater Cairo” project document in a ceremony held at the GOPP premises.

UN-Habitat launches economic assessment of Egypt’s Al Alamein New City

Cairo 10 March 2016—Together with its Egyptian partners, General Organization for Physical Planning (GOPP), the New Urban Communities Authority and the technical consultant (Bearing Consultancy), UN-Habitat on Thursday launched the economic assessment of Al Alamein New City. The economic assessment aims to analyze financially the future revenues of planning Al Alamein New City.
