Evaluation of the Project for City Resilience in Afghanistan April 2017 - March 2019 (2/2019) 2019 This project was funded by the Government of Japan with a budget of USD 3,296,800. CPI PROFILE Jazan 2019 Under the FSCP, UN-HABITAT, MOMRA, Municipality and its Local Urban Observatory has been working on developing urban statistic and spatial information (Geographic Information System) to provide relevant urban information that strongly supports decision-making process on urban development and urban planning in the city. Urban October Report 2018 2019 Every October UN-Habitat and partners organize a month of activities, events and discussions on urban sustainability. In 2018 Urban October celebrations began with World Habitat Day on 1 October on the theme of Municipal Solid Waste Management. The global observance was hosted by the Government of Kenya in Nairobi. Urban October ended with the World Cities Day global observance being celebrated in Liverpool, United Kingdom on 31 October with the theme Building Sustainable and Resilient Cities. Local, regional and national authorities and partners were encouraged to organize activities and register them.
