Managing and financing urban development through physical & land use planning processes in Kenya: A guidebook for county governments 2022 The purpose of the Guidebook is to strengthen the ability of County Governments in Kenya to utilize existing legislation and provide key insights in the coordination of spatial planning policies. These policies define location and character of development and the economic regulation of resources necessary to deliver value for money. It identifies physical and land use policy, operational and regulatory issues and incorporates financing strategies to implement them.
Accelerating Integrated Urban Climate Action: Achievements and Impacts of the Urban-LEDS Phase II Project 2017 – 2021 2022 The Urban-LEDS phase II sought to accelerate the pace of change in cities through targeted support to 72 local governments and 8 national governments to enhance integrated low emission and climate resilient development, access to finance and multi-level governance.

This report features findings from a systematic literature review and a global online survey completed by approximately 300 respondents, who have reported on the smart city governance practices of more than 250 municipalities in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America.
