The global observance of World Cleanup Day 2026 will take place in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, China, from 19 to 21 September 2026 under the theme "From Clean Plates to Clean Cities". UN-Habitat invites all member states, organizations, and other relevant stakeholders, including civil society, the private sector and academia, to register their planned activities, events, and more for the observance of World Cleanup Day.
