Mr. Rama started his political career as Councilor of Cebu City for three successive terms from 1992 to 2001, filling in the slot of his uncle, Clemente "Cle" Rama, a veteran councilor, and leading the Committee on Education.

Mr. Henk Ovink has been appointed as the first Special Envoy for International Water Affairs for the Kingdom of the Netherlands by the Ministries of Infrastructure and the Environment, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, and Economic Affairs. In his capacity as thematic ambassador, the Special Envoy for International Water Affairs reinforces Dutch ambitions in the water domain; he contributes to boosting the international market position of Dutch know-how and expertise.

第二个会议是联合国人居署理事会第25届会议,定于2015年4月17日至23日举行。利用成员国和正式认可的合作伙伴均有高层代表参会的良机,2015年14日至23日将开辟两个会议的通用展区。

Mr Yoshiaki Kawata

Director and Professor, Research Center for Safety Science at Kansai University and Executive Director of Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institute, Japan

Graduated from Department of Civil Engineering, Kyoto University in 1969, and obtained PhD in 1976 from Kyoto University. He was Associate Professor in 1976, Research Fellow, University of Washington in 1981-82, Fulbright Senior Research Fellow at Princeton University in 1992 and got the full professor position in 1993.

Mr. Kisaburo Ishii

Vice-Minister for Land, Infrastructure and Hokkaido Development Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism

Kisaburo Ishii is Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). He is in charge of policies on land, infrastructure and Hokkaido development. After graduating from Tokyo University, Law Department, in 1979, he joined the Ministry of Construction (now restructured as MLIT).
