Join the world’s largest discussion on the future of our cities and towns –the Tenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF 10) – which will be streamed live around the globe. While over ten thousand participants are expected to attend WUF 10 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – everyone else can get a ringside seat live online.
From the moment WUF10 starts on Saturday 8 February at Abu Dhabi’s National Exhibition Centre until it closes its doors on Thursday 13 February, everyone can join in the key events, launches and press conferences and exciting discussions on their phone or computer. The live streaming coverage of multiple simultaneous meetings and events will be available (in English language) on the UN Web TV website.
The recordings will also be available afterwards on the UN Web TV website as well as on UN-Habitat’s YouTube channel. Universities, schools, community groups and urbanists are encouraged to come together to organize their own mini-WUFs and follow events at WUF 10. WUF10 features inspiring, dynamic sessions bringing together high-level speakers including Ministers, Mayors, business executives, community leaders, artists, writers, urban planners, award winning architects, academics from top universities sharing their experiences, best practices and forward-looking solutions.
Live Coverage Includes:
- Saturday 8 February – Joint Opening of the Assemblies followed by simultaneous coverage of the Women’s, Youth, Local and Regional Governments,Grassroots and Business Assemblies in plenary,
- Sunday 9 February – Official Opening (morning), High Level Press Conference, 4 Roundtables and 4 Special Sessions, One UN room,
- Monday 10 to Wednesday 12 February – 2 High Level Dialogues (morning), Press Conferences, 4 Roundtables, 4 Special Sessions (afternoon), One UN Room, flagship launches at the UN-Habitat arena at Urban Expo,
- Thursday 13 February–Official Closing Ceremony (half day).
