Big Ship supports waste management through capacity building of primary garbage collectors in Mombasa County and resource recovery where it engages a network of 30 community youth organization in waste recovery through sorting from source process under Community Waste Management Business Model (COBWAMM).
The project facilitates effective residential waste collection especially in low-income and populated neighborhood by building capacity and partnering with community waste actors mostly youths within Mombasa through RECO a professional waste collection franchise service and sorting for recycling.
