Esatablishing IRRC with JICA and developing strategic plan for improvement of solid waste management system:
1. Communication material was developed for community awarness.
2. Waste segregation was introduced
3. New waste collection routes were planned
4. Three wheelers were introduced for waste collection from remote areas
5. Capacity of composting was increased
6. With financial support from central government recycling center and storage facilities were made
7. New land was identified for landfill
