“Byblos 2025” vision was launched in June 2019 providing a framework to elaborate the municipality’s developmental action plan. Mayor of Byblos Municipality prohibited the use of plastic bags by end of 2018, in addition to sorting at source project plus distributing to all communities biodegradable bags to boost the Awareness of anti- plastic use in the city .
