The roadmap for 2025 includes virtual intersessional meetings for member states, nominated experts and other stakeholders to pursue the work on the identified thematic areas, and a second meeting of the Working Group (OEWG-H2).
UN-Habitat is pleased to invite the experts nominated by Member States and the Permanent and Observer Missions representatives to attend the planned intersessional thematic online meetings.

The virtual intersessional thematic meetings are being rolled out with two sessions for each topic to cater for different time zones, according to the following schedule:
Housing Finance: 24th June 2025 10:00-1:00pm EAT (English, Russian, Arabic) and 4:00-7:00pm EAT (English, French, Spanish, Arabic)

The draft recommendations drawn from these virtual thematic intersessional meetings will be compiled in a summary that will be presented at the OEWG-H2, with similar processes taking place in 2026, 2027 and 2028 with a comprehensive set of housing policy recommendations presented at the third session of the Habitat Assembly in 2029.
