Antonio Carvalho e Silva Neto is President of the Institute of Research and Urban Planning and is affiliated with the City Hall of Maceió in Brazil. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and social sciences, with postgraduate studies in Future Intelligence from the University of Brasília.
Antonio Carvalho e Silva Neto has an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from the Harvard School of Government and is a master’s candidate in governance and development from Escola Nacional de Administração Pública – Enap. He is a legislative analyst at the Chamber of Deputies and has been a career public servant at the federal level for over 11 years.
In addition, he is also President of the National Forum of Local Secretaries of Innovation – Forum Inova Cidades, and member of the Leadership Board of the Cities Coalition for Digital Rights.
Antonio Carvalho e Silva Neto coordinated one of the commitments of Brazil’s 4th Open Government Action Plan and was an expert consultant in the UN-Habitat project that developed the report Human Rights in the Digital Era.
