Working Paper for the preparation of the Secretary General's Report on the Progress on the implementation of the New Urban Agenda

This working paper is produced by UN-Habitat as an outcome document of a participatory Global Expert Group Meeting/Writeshop attended by multiple stakeholders to share their views and experiences on the implementation of the New Urban Agenda and SDG 11.  The meeting was held in Granada, Spain, from 21-23 March 2018, made possible with support of the Ayuntamiento de Granada, and the collaboration of the Agencia Andaluza de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo.

The working paper represent the final draft at the completion of the Granada meeting, and formed the basis of the first Quadrennial Report of the Secretary General of the United Nations on the Progress of the New Urban Agenda.  The paper acknowledges all contributors who were present in Granada.

Due to the strict format and length of the Quadrennial Report, not all the information from the working paper is included in the final version of the Report issued by the Office of the Secretary General.
