General Information
The Urban Thinkers campus will be held over two days, January 10th & 11th, 2016 from 9:00 – 19:00 with two breaks.
Based on the theme “The City We Need we have organized the event to include urban thinkers from all constituencies of UAE society, women, community, government, non-government, urban planners and youth. The approved themes will run between 11:00 – 13:00 are:
- The City We Need is Smart & Sustainable
- The City We Need is Economically Vibrant & Inclusive
- The City We Need is Safe & Resilient
We have incorporated other pivotal events in the agenda like:
- Cities Conversation: choosing three to four cities sharing and discussing urbanization issues from the theme of Smart & Sustainable Cities; these Cities are Dubai, Barcelona, London and Amsterdam.
- Investor Summit: Introducing Foreign Direct Investment and Affordable Housing experts
- Urban Talks: Panel Discussion of a few experts discussing Global urbanization challenges
- Innovation Lab: three to four companies exhibiting their innovative solutions and technologies
