The Urban-LEDS project promotes low-emission urban development strategies in emerging economy countries. Jointly implemented by ICLEI and UN-Habitat and funded by the European Union, it helps cities to pursue low-carbon, sustainable development. This newsletter provides a brief overview of how the Urban-LEDS project was involved during the United Nations climate negotiations (COP21) in Paris, France in December 2015. This includes city participation in sessions at the Cities & Regions - TAP2015 Pavilion on climate finance, spatial planning, 100% renewable energy, carbon neutrality, as well as TAP project presentations.
