Implementing the New Urban Agenda and SDGs in Liberia: Towards a National Urban Policy Second National Urban Forum Report

This report documents the key outcomes of discussions held during the second National Urban Forum (NUF) for Liberia in Monrovia on 26th November 2019. It summarises inputs from various speakers and participants gathered through high-level panel discussions, stakeholder roundtables, plenary meetings, question and answer sessions and written comments. It presents how the Forum engaged government officials, local government officials from all parts of Liberia, women’s groups, youth groups, slum dwellers, street vendors and petty traders, regional government representatives and actors on the environment and climate change. This Forum report also presents the preliminary policy recommendations formulated for further analysis in subsequent stages of the development of the NUP in Liberia.
