On Human Rights Day, colleagues are invited to attend a one hour information session from 1430 - 1530 related to forced evictions. In this session, video clips relevant to forced evictions will be screened, and the UN-Habitat publications entitled “Informal Settlements: Alternative solutions to slum demolition and forced eviction of local communities. Case studies from Africa, Asia, Central and South America” will be presented for debate. Venue: Fukuoka Meeting Room.
