Enhancing and Developing Seismic Risk Assesment for Pyay City of Myanmar

This paper tends to make earthquake risk assessment in Pyay City. The results will be in useful in developing comprehensive risk reduction programs addressing the specific vulnerabilities in the city. The risk assessment will guide to future development in the cities along with UN-Habitat’s Myanmar Comprehensive Disaster Risk Reduction Programme and also with broader DRR activities and those of Government.
