Abdelkhalek Ibrahim holds a PhD in Sustainable Urban Planning from the University of Liverpool. He is an Honorary Professor at the University of Liverpool. He is also a Senior Technical Assistant to the Minister of Housing; Head of the Sustainable Development Unit at the International Cooperation Committee; part of the WUF12 organization committee; and the supervisor of the Smart City Unit as well as the Head of the technical support department at the Ministry of Housing.
