Our Work

Humanitarian Support to IDPs in the Republic of Iraq including the Kurdistan Region of Iraq through Provision of Durable Shelter

4 IDP Shelter sites equipped with prefabricated shelter units (totaling to 1,535 units), basic infrastructure, and public facilities such as primary schools and reproductive health clinics as well as temporary premises of university were established in the targeted governorates. Guidelines and plans to develop and manage the shelter sites are formulated to develop the response of Institutional capacity of the targeted governorates and line ministries.

Budget: US$15,000,000The project delivered durable shelters for over 8,900 IDPs in partenrship with UNFPA, UNICEF, UNHCR and IOM
