In early August , UN-HABITAT launched a project titled “Durable Shelter support for IDPs in Iraq” The initiative, funded by the Saudi Humanitarian Fund, aims to develop infrastructure and public facilities including 5,339 temporary prefabricated shelter units as well as medical facilities and schools in three shelter sites located in Dawodye (Dohuk); Barznja (Sulaymaniyah) and Bahrka (Erbil).
