General Information
The “Urban Thinkers Campus México 2015: Legal course towards Habitat III”, will be celebrated in Mexico City, from November 17 to 20, 2015. This event aims to propose the legal foundations for a new global legal urban planning, that will be incorporated in Habitat III.
We will make the voice of experts on law and urban planning heard, for the preparation of a document containing the principles of the new legal land-use planning in the world, with a legal and interdisciplinary approach, based on the recognition and development of human rights.
The three thematic axis of the event are:
- Legal frameworks for the City We Need.
- New integral urban design for the City We Need.
- Metropolitan legal regulation.
The event will be developed in two modalities:
- Urban Thinkers Sessions.
- Urban Labs Sessions.
Additionally, the organizers will hold a "KIDS Urban Thinkers" as well as a "Right to the City" event.

A list of speakers and moderators will be confirmed in due course. The organization of the event is affiliated with the Urban Thinkers Campus model developed by the World Urban Campaign.
