Under its Environmental and Social Safeguard System (ESSS), UN-Habitat has established a Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) to receive and address complaints, concerns, feedback, inquiries and requests relating to UN-Habitat's work. The GRM provides a safe, accessible and confidential way for individuals, groups and communities to raise concerns and seek appropriate resolution. It also provides an opportunity for UN-Habitat to learn from concerns raised and improve its policies, programmes and operations. You may submit a complaint, feedback, inquiry or request anonymously. Providing your contact details is optional. If you submit anonymously, however, UN-Habitat will not be able to contact you to request additional information, provide updates, or inform you of how your complaint has been addressed. There is no fee for using the GRM, and you will not face retaliation or other negative consequences for raising a complaint or concern in good faith. Information will be handled confidentially and personal information will only be shared where necessary for the purposes of assessing and addressing the matter, subject to applicable UN-Habitat policies and procedures. Please provide as much factual information and supporting evidence as you are able to provide. This will help UN-Habitat understand and address your concern.
