The guide on urban profiling for local authorities in Turkey, by UN-Habitat and SKL International’s RESLOG Turkey, builds upon UN-Habitat’s extensive global experience on urban and neighborhood profiling. Urban profiling provides a basis for decision making towards sustainable urban development and supporting the collaboration of all relevant stakeholders in the humanitarian-development nexus.

Through a comparative analysis of the 19 cities of the Global Future Cities Programme, the report shares experiences and knowledge gained during the Programme’s Strategic Development Phase.
