This Regional Representation Strategy for Africa shows a paradigm shift towards sustainable urbanisation as an engine for growth by proactively tackling urban challenges while simultaneously leveraging the opportunities presented by the phenomenon itself.

Under the thematic area of “Disaster risk reduction and early warning systems” from the Adaptation Fund, the project Improved Resilience of Coastal Communities in Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana aims at increasing resilience to climate change and human-induced hazards. More concretely, resilience to coastal erosion and coastal flooding.
