The UN Environment Assembly (UNEA) is the highest decision-making body on environmental matters in the UN system. The sixth meeting of the Assembly (UNEA-6) is scheduled to take place from 26 February to 1 March 2024 at UNEP Headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. It will focus on the theme, ‘Effective, inclusive and sustainable multilateral actions to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution’.
