The 11th meeting of the Conference of Contracting Parties (COP11) to the Nairobi Convention for the Protection, Management and Development of the Marine and Coastal Environment of the Western Indian Ocean Region (Nairobi Convention) will convene in two main segments. A partners, experts, and national focal points meeting will convene for the first two days. A heads of delegation meeting will convene on the third day to review implementation of the Convention’s work programme for 2022-2024 and to review and approve the proposed 2024-2026 work programme and budget and deliberate on decisions.
