This book teaches us that the fight against inequality requires the establishment of a new governance paradigm which coordinates efforts, strengthens formal coordination mechanisms, establishes
joint responsibilities and provides the resources and incentives
necessary at every level of government. Responsibilities should be
shared in such a way as to facilitate a more decisive and better coordinated way of confronting inequality in cities.
